Day 8

Sorry guys no reception yesterday so here you go...

Hello hello hello what's up everyone day 8 is all done . Today was a pretty smooth sailing day. We did a comfortable 16.3 miles today . I wouldn't have a compliant if I didn't have a huge blister on my pinky toe ha. Today the terrain was all gentle ups and downs for the most part . We did have one section that was straight up for a couple hundred yards but I was kinda cool because we weren't hiking we were rock climbing lol. Today we had the best view so far we were at 5250 elevation on top a fire tower on a mountian . The pictures below don't do the view justice. It reminded me of the Grand Canyon it was truly something amazing.  

Tomorrow we are going to hitch hike into franklin to reapply on food a fuel .

Really not much to say about today . It was a cool temp day and we got to camp around 330 and relaxed and hung out with another thru hiker named hungry horse. This is 3 night so far when we been at same campsite. Pretty cool guy just graduated school for civil engineer. 

O and Harold you were right and aunt Mickie you were wrong guessing food . I am the one eating the snickers . 

We are going to get up early tomorrow and after we get out of franklin we still hVe 12 miles to hike. Miss you guys talk to you tomorrow.
