Kayla and I have been together 5 years this september. We are both 22 years old and both at that point in our lives where we are about to get big boy and girl jobs. But before we do that we wanted to go on an adventure of a lifetime. The Appalachian Trail appealed to us for its beauty and its challenge. Kayla is currently attending Kent State University for Managerial Marketing and graduates this May. I am currently working as a paramedic for an ambulance company. After Kayla graduates we will be attempting a NOBO (northbound) thru hike of the AT (appalachian trail). Our journey is going to take us around five months to complete. We will be starting at Springer Mountain, Georgia and hiking to Katahdin, Maine .
